The furnace flue gas passes through the thicker flue gas duct, the fan blows the flue to exchange hot air, and the furnace body. Directly connected to the earth. However, the disadvantages of this type of dryer are that the temperature is lost, the amount of coal is large, and the thermal efficiency is low. The hot air that is exchanged is turned back from the air duct to the tunnels on both sides. The hot air is uneven in the tunnel and the dried material is uneven. Moreover, after drying, the materials must be sorted and then dried again. The drying cost is high, and the coal furnace cannot be smokeless, which causes environmental pollution.

The tunnel type fruit and vegetable dryer adopts a tube-type three-pass smokeless hot air stove. The high-temperature and high-humidity axial fan blows hot air directly to the materials in the tunnel. The materials are placed on the pallets of each layer of the material cart. Enter the tunnel from the end of the tunnel, discharge the material from the side of the tunnel near the hot blast stove, and discharge a cart of dry material, and enter a cart of wet material at the other end to achieve intermittent drying.

Basic working principle of tunnel dryer

When the tunnel dryer is in operation, the materials to be dried are placed in a drying tray, and the drying tray is placed on a drying cart. The drying cart enters from the entrance of the drying chamber in the same time. The dry material is fed in, and runs in the opposite direction to the drying truck, making full contact with the material. The drying room is automatically temperature controlled, and the moisture is automatically discharged by the exhaust fan.

Structure of tunnel dryer

The tunnel dryer equipment adopts continuous drying operation, which mainly includes a drying room, a drying cart, a tray, an air supply system, a hot blast stove, and an automatic electric control system. The drying room adopts metal insulation board or brick-concrete structure, and the drying tray is made of metal or other materials.
